For the parents who like to do lots of country walking these unique buggies from New Zealand offer some practical options. With swivel front wheels that can be fixed, the EasyLife buggy has excellent maneuverability and stability for town or all terrain use. The features on both the single and double are excellent. They offer comfort and style from newborn to 5 years old. The double is ideal for baby and toddler or twins. The package includes rain cover, sun canopy, basket, bumper bar, car seat strap and a choice of solid or pneumatic tyres. Great value for money.

My husband bought this pram – being a bicycle enthusiast, I think the pump appealed to him!

It is a great product, very manoeuvrable. We’ve used it in the city and in the country over the roughest terrain and also on beaches where it doesn’t seem to get stuck. Prior to my daughter’s birth we gave the neighbours’ kids rides in it, including a seven year old, so it’s pretty robust. My daughter was comfortable either sitting up or laying flat and she slept soundly in it. It’s good value for money and, having a redheaded daughter, I liked the UV shade as it was much better than a prissy parasol. The pram folded easily and fitted in my Escort without having to remove the wheels.

I’d recommend it, particularly to mums who don’t like girly prams and to dads who want something that looks sporty.

Pushchairs and Strollers - The term stroller is American English and the term pushchair is British English. The child usually sits facing forwards. "Pushchair" was the popularly used term in the UK between its invention and the early 1980s, when a more compact design known as a "buggy" became the trend. Buggy is now the regular term used in the UK, however buggy is often used in American English to refer to a pram. The strict definition of pram is a vehicle for moving a baby around which consists of a small enclosed bed supported by a frame on four wheels. Newer versions of pushchairs can be configured to carry a baby lying down like a low pram and then be altered or reconfigured to carry the child in the forward facing position.
