Recent Enquiries regarding Pushchairs

Here are some of the most recent enquiries we have received regarding pushchairs, prams, strollers and buggies.

Question : Hopefully you can help us, we have an Out and About twin pushchair (3 wheeler) with a buggy board fitted but our eldest (2 1/2) sometimes likes to have a seat on longer walks. As we have a newborn and a 1 1/2 year old we would like to extend the existing pushchair so our eldest can have a seat when she needs to. Is there any product like an extra seat we can clip on or attach to the Out and About so it effectively becomes a 3 seater. We don't want to go to the expense of buying a whole new buggy if we dont have to. Thanks and we appreciate any help you can give us.

Reply from My Pushchair : We suggested the BuggyPod clip-on seat, although we felt this might make the buggy too wide to be practical. The Buggypod clip-on seat is suitable for children from around 6 months up to 4 years, and it has a five-point harness and comfy seat and footplate (just like any pushchair). We also suggested the Litaf Seat 2 Go Safari Buggy Hitch Hiker. The Seat2Go fits to most buggies, strollers and three wheelers and will fit most types of pushchair which have vertical upright bars that are parallel to each other at the back of the buggy.

Question : Can anyone help me? - I am looking for a new chassis for my Mamas and Papas pram. The pram is about 6 years old (classic chassis) Sportivo with yellow wheels and handle. Any ideas where I can get one?

Reply from My Pushchair : We had two responses to this unusual enquiry - the first was to contact Mamas and Papas directly. We have a page dedicated to Pushchair Manufacturers contact information. Our other suggestion was to check out second-hand ads, possibly placing a 'wanted' advertisement.
