New for 2009 the Seed PLI pushchair is a brand new concept in transporting your baby. This system is both a pram and pushchair which can be folded flat enabling you to fit it in a smaller space. Suitable from birth your baby can lie flat in the carrycot in comfort with a 5-point safety harness, the carrycot also has a large hood and matching apron. Once your little one is big enough for a pushchair the seat then changes into a forward facing pushchair with a footrest creating a very trendy look. The great design of this pram/pushchair is that when it’s folded the chassis including the wheels makes it incredibly small, and the carrycot/seat unit also folds neatly. Made in Scandinavia the Seed PLI comes in a choice of colours and will be a real head turner when you’re out and about with your baby!

Pushchairs and Strollers - The term stroller is American English and the term pushchair is British English. The child usually sits facing forwards. "Pushchair" was the popularly used term in the UK between its invention and the early 1980s, when a more compact design known as a "buggy" became the trend. Buggy is now the regular term used in the UK, however buggy is often used in American English to refer to a pram. The strict definition of pram is a vehicle for moving a baby around which consists of a small enclosed bed supported by a frame on four wheels. Newer versions of pushchairs can be configured to carry a baby lying down like a low pram and then be altered or reconfigured to carry the child in the forward facing position.
